Supervisor Perez Concedes Weed Vote ‘Inappropriate’; Former Kern Counsel Goldener Weighs In

Supervisor Leticia Perez made an astonishing concession Tuesday before the Board, admitting she is “embarrassed” about the controversy she is engulfed in regarding her vote on marijuana. Some insist she is embedded in a conflict of interest considering allegations her husband was financially benefiting by lobbying in favor of recreational or medical marijuana use. Former County Counsel Terri Goldner, an admitted listener of “TRBS”, said she disagrees with Perez and insisted this is not a complex issue and Perez’s intentions are not a factor in her guilt or innocence.
