District Attorney Lisa Green announced on “TRBS” Tuesday that she will not retry Vincente Benevides, the man convicted in 1993 of sexually molesting and murdering a 20-month old child. Evidence later indicated that the sexual molestation did not happen, despite Benevides spending 24 years on Death Row. She added he should be released from prison in early May.
