McCarthy tours flood-ravaged Houston and surrounding areas

House Majority Leader Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-Bakersfield) spent his Labor Day weekend touring flood damage along the Texas coast.

In a pair of Tweets, McCarthy said Texans are ”resilient and strong” and that Congress will act swiftly to ensure that federal resources are used to help people recover from the record flooding.
