Arvin farmer John Trino, 76, slams the Board of Supervisors for banning cannabis that Trino says saved his life

John Trino says he was among the “walking dead,’ suffering from a rare form of cancer that few survive. But his doctors prescribed medical marijuana so he could drink and eat and he now credits cannabis with saving his life. He is furious with the Board of Supervisors for voting to ban the sale of cannabis, what Trino calls a cynical and politically motivated decision.
