Bakersfield Police say a 23-year-old man got into an argument with his mother on Thursday evening before stabbing her and his two brothers — ages 15 and 10.

The 10-year-old boy is in critical condition, according to a Bakersfield Police news release, while the mother and 15-year-old boy are in stable condition at a local hospital.

Police said they arrested Jeremy Rapolla on suspicion of three counts of attempted murder, and two counts of felony child cruelty. Rapolla was taken into custody in the 300 block of Donna Avenue without incident and was taken to Kern County Jail.
