Slight chance of thunderstorms this morning

The National Weather Service in Hanford is forecasting a 20 percent chance of thunderstorms this morning for Bakersfield, but that chance should expire around 11 a.m. After that, the weather is expected to remain hot throughout the week with temperatures topping 100 degrees through the weekend.

Today’s high could hit 105 degrees in Bakersfield.
