Kern County Sheriff’s Deputy Logan August plead guilty in federal court to participating in a conspiracy to posses and distribute drugs, including marijuana stolen from law enforcement evidence lockers. August, along with fellow deputy Derrick Penney, made those pleas and will now face prison sentences.
