A phishing scheme has impacted millions of Internet users who were tricked into opening an email with a Google Doc attachment.
Google issued a statement Wednesday afternoon saying that it had taken measures to stamp out the attack. However, millions of users were effected by the attack and those users watched as they sent scores, if not thousands of, spam emails.
