For decades the Democratic Party has remained in power in part by defining and redefining opponents rather then defending ideas to better the nation and the man in the crosshairs now is would-be Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy. On “The Ralph Bailey Show” and others Tuesday, House Majority Leader simply stated a fact: Since a congressional select committee focused on Benghazi and the lies told by the then Secretary of State and the Obama Administration, Hillary Clinton’s presidential polling numbers have plummeted like the fictitious helicopter spiraling into Afghanistan of which she lied. Brilliantly now, if your a political douche bag willing to do anything to win, the Democrats have used McCarthy’s facts to portray him as a neophyte leader who, like a child with milk breath, accidentally exposed the Republican secret. From the White House Communication Director to Sen. Barbara Boxer the talking points have gone out and the goal is clear: discredit McCarthy and thus throw an egg on the face of the entire Party. It’s what they do. Remember “The Vast Right Wing Conspiracy” formed against the innocent president who “…did not have sex with that woman … Ms. Lewinsky”? They tried and failed with Ronald Reagan, too. And George W. Bush was then defined as the idiot governor from Texas but that didn’t work either because both men fought back. Both men realized you can’t un ring the bell but you can certainly shout back the truth before and after the chimes of lies stop. This will be Kevin’s first and perhaps most important test. Can he truly be the aggressive, take no prisoners face of the Party? Will he cower in hiding shielding himself with prewritten statements from his young staff? Or will he go before every camera and every TV and radio program and declare the war cry of this election: Hillary Clinton lied about Benghazi and it DOES MATTER!! (We’d bring up Obama’s culpability but he’s yesterday’s news.) The select committee simply exposed the truth and dispelled the Obama/Clinton lies about some movie instigating a terrorist act and the murder of an American Ambassador on American soil in Libya and another committee will do the same regarding the lies perpetrated by Planned Parenthood, as well.
