ADOPT PETS FROM HELPING ANIMALS LIVE TOMORROW (H.A.L.T.)
Brody is a young Sheltie/Papillion mix. Sweet and playful, he is currently in a foster home and working on his potty training and social skills. A very loving little dog, he enjoys being held and cuddled. Rescue officials believe he will stay on the small to medium size once he is full grown, and make a wonderful family pet or companion dog. He gets along with other dogs and cats, and is really eager to please. Brody is very smart, so training should not be a problem. A family with kids would be great since Brody likes so much attention.

MORE ON H.A.L.T.
H.A.L.T. Rescue was founded and established in Bakersfield in 2008. They are a non-profit animal rescue whose ambitions include rescuing homeless dogs and cats, providing them with medical attention, and most importantly, finding them the loving homes they deserve. H.A.L.T recognizes the need to step forward and create a way to help as many of the nearly 20,000 dogs and cats that are euthanized annually in Kern County. Supported by friends and volunteers that share their vision, H.A.L.T. strives to serve the animals in county shelters that do not have the option of being adopted. They believe strongly that animals deserve our love, compassion and respect.
