A Bakersfield woman is recovering after being shot in the face. Police rolled out to 1712 Clarke Avenue on Saturday afternoon. They say a woman was shot while standing at the front door through the screen door. She identified the shooter as Jerome Wilson. Wilson was later found at America's Best Value Inn on Oak street and was arrested. Authorities say they found the gun used in the shooting. The motive behind the shooting remains under investigation.
