SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) - A new poll by the Public Policy Institute of California finds support is slipping for Gov. Jerry Brown's tax initiative. With less than two weeks before the election, the poll finds that 48 percent of likely voters back the Democratic governor's plan to raise the state sales tax and increase income taxes on the wealthy. Forty-four percent say they would vote no, and 8 percent say they're undecided.
