A driver in a raised Ford F-250 pickup crashed into two boys on a motorized scooter Sunday afternoon around 2 p.m. as they went through a stop sign at Birch and Monroe streets.

The California Highway Patrol said the boys, ages 11 and 7, were riding on the same scooter, which was dragged about 15 feet by a tire on the truck. One boy injured his head and had trouble remembering his name
after the crash.
