AUDIO: Scott Cox Talks Post-Concussion Syndrome

If you thought concussions were what you should watch out for, what happens when you have more than one? What could happen then?

University Phoenix Instructor and Nurse Practitioner Vicki Greenberg appeared on the Scott Cox Show to discuss post-concussion syndrome.

"Post-concussion syndrome is a result of one or more concussions that build up the problems in your brain over the course of time, and can cause more traumatic long-term injury to the brain and actually interfere with some of your characteristics the rest of your life," Greenberg said.

Many people can get a concussion and not even know they had one, or not see symptoms for 7-10 days, she said. "Watch for nausea and vomiting, seeing stars," she said, adding those injured should have someone watch them for 24 hours.
