According to the Kern County Sheriff's Office, deputies pulled over 37-year-old Armando Gonzales on Wednesday, Jan. 25 at 15th Street West and Monte Vista Avenue in Rosamond.
Officials said Gonzales' license was suspended and the vehicle he was driving was unregistered. Sergeant Sean Pratt tol Kern Radio, News Talk 1180 what deputies uncovered.
"Upon further investigation we found that he was on parole," Pratt said. After a search of the vehicle and Gonzales, over an ounce of suspected meth was found along with needles and packaging.
Gonzales was arrested on several charges including possession of a controlled substance and traffic violations.
