Woman Finds WWI Shells In Dead Uncle's Home

Some old military ammo turned up at a home in Wasco, Calif.

According to the Kern County Sheriff's Office, deputies got a call around 4 p.m. on Thursday afternoon from a woman who said she found what she believed to be old World War Two artillery rounds in her dead uncle's house.

Sheriff's officials said deputies found two cannon rounds from World War One and World War Two. The Kern County Sheriff's Office Bomb Squad was called out to dispose of the rounds.

The woman said she was unsure what to do with them so she called the sheriff's office.
