Grey-haired Robber Hits Oildale Bank
The Kern County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted for bank robbery. On January 29th, 2013 at about 4:00 pm a suspect entered the Wells Fargo Bank at 1309 N. Chester Ave. in Oildale and approached a bank teller. The suspect, depicted in the above video surveillance photograph, demanded money and fled the bank on foot. He is described as 45 to 60 years old, 5-10 to 6 feet tall, medium build, with grey hair and a beard. He wore corrective glasses, a grey beanie, black sweatshirt and blue jeans.
